Young researchers are invited to make contributions to the IV International Congress of the Italian-Spanish Seminar «Perspectives of contemporary constitutionalism» by submitting a Seminar Paper on one of the listed thematic lines. Researchers may submit their proposal before September 24th by filling in the corresponding form on the website and including the topic (which should not necessarily coincide with the final title) as well as the abstract of the Seminar Paper. If possible, the main conclusions should also be included.
The anonymized proposals shall be selected by the scientific committee, which may admit them with reservations. The outcome of the selection process will be communicated as soon as possible, together with the reviewer comments and suggestions, if any. Researchers whose proposal is admitted will be requested a small registration fee (€10) and should present the Seminar Paper in person at the time and at the round-table indicated by the Seminar. In any case, the Seminar reserves the right to make the organizational adjustments deemed necessary. In order to allow counter speakers to prepare their interventions, the final Seminar Paper (15 pages) should be sent before November 10th 2018.
The participation of young researchers is intended to be the core of the Seminar and for that reason, the central day shall be entirely devoted to the round-tables. The composition of the tables and the time of the interventions will be conveyed as soon as possible. Presentations should not take more than 5 minutes, since the remaining time will be allocated to discussions and general debate. Speakers are encouraged to actively participate in these discussions as well. At least two specialized Professors in each thematic line will form part of the corresponding round-tables. Papers may be enriched with the contributions of the Seminar until around two months after its celebration. Thereafter, the final Paper should be submitted, for its publication as part of a collective work by a prestigious publishing company in the Spring of 2019.
